Michael Brady has more than twenty years of experience in strategy and management, identifying business opportunities in high-growth and transitional industries. His career is marked by his ability to integrate business strategy, financial leadership, operational excellence, and social impact to build and scale organizations for long-term success.

Michael spent eight years as the President and CEO of Greyston Bakery in Yonkers, New York, one of the country’s foremost social enterprises. During Michael’s tenure, he achieved record growth by overhauling operations at Greyston’s 23,000 sq. ft. commercial bakery and tapping into global development opportunities with organizations such as Unilever, Whole Foods Market, and Delta Air Lines. His TED Talk titled "Why We Hire Unemployable People" established the vision that led to establishing Greyston Foundation’s Center for Open Hiring in 2018 and to his selection to the inaugural global list of the Top 100 Meaningful Business Leaders in 2019.

Michael is also a co-founder of the Organic Food Incubator (OFI) in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The OFI was the first business incubator in the country dedicated to organic food production and distribution and has grown into a full-service contract manufacturer serving middle market food and beverage brands.

Earlier in his career, Michael was a strategy consultant with PwC before joining the leadership team at FAST Search and Transfer. Michael was the Vice President of Global Mobile & Media Solutions at FAST when the business exited to Microsoft for $1.2 billion.
 

Michael holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, cum laude, from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware. He is an Academic Partner at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and serves as a mentor at Conscious Venture Lab supporting minority entrepreneurs to launch sustainable business. Michael continues to champion transformative strategies and inclusive practices, inspiring industry partners and communities to create a more equitable and just world.
